In the following, you can study the BPM 2015 registration periods, fees and contents.

Registration Periods

Early Bird: until July 15, 2015, 23:59 CEST
Regular: July 16, 2015, 00:00 CEST – August 15, 2015, 23:59 CEST
Late / On-site: August 16, 2015, 00:00 CEST – September 4, 2015, 09:00 CEST

Registration Types

BPM 2015 is a combination of different events:

  • a Doctoral Consortium on Sunday, August 30,
  • a workshop day on Monday, August 31,
  • the main conference running from Tuesday, September 1 to Thursday, September 3
  • a co-located event: EMISA workshop from Thursday, September 3 afternoon to Friday, September 4

Please note that in the registration system you will have to choose between the following options:

Option 1: Workshop Day
This option allows to register for the workshops. It is possible to add the EMISA workshop registration (the corresponding fee is then added to the previous one) later in the registration process. Please wait with your registration until the workshop you plan to attend is confirmed on the BPM 2015 website, as no refunds can be made without cancellation fees. At the current stage workshops can still be cancelled or merged with other workshops.

Option 2: Main Conference
This option allows to register for the main conference. It is possible to add the EMISA workshop registration (the corresponding fee is then added to the previous one) later in the registration process.

Option 3: Main Conference + Workshop Day
This option allows to register for the main conference and the workshop day on August 31. It is possible to add the EMISA workshop registration (the corresponding fee is then added to the previous one) later in the registration process. If you plan to attend a particular workshop, please wait with your registration until the workshop you plan to attend is confirmed on the BPM 2015 website, as no refunds can be made without cancellation fees. At the current stage workshops can still be cancelled or merged with other workshops.

Option 4: 1-Day Pass Tuesday
This option allows to attend the main conference on Tuesday, September 1. It is possible to add the EMISA workshop registration (the corresponding fee is then added to the previous one) later in the registration process.

Option 5: 1-Day Pass Wednesday
This option allows to attend the main conference on Wednesday, September 2. It is possible to add the EMISA workshop registration (the corresponding fee is then added to the previous one) later in the registration process.

Option 6: 1-Day Pass Thursday
This option allows to attend the main conference on Thursday, September 3. It is possible to add the EMISA workshop registration (the corresponding fee is then added to the previous one) later in the registration process.

Option 7: 2-Day Pass Wednesday and Thursday
This option allows to attend the main conference on Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3. It is possible to add the EMISA workshop registration (the corresponding fee is then added to the previous one) later in the registration process.

Option 8: EMISA Workshop
This option allows to register for the EMISA workshop on Thursday September, 3 and Friday, September 4.

Registration Fees

The registration fees are detailed below. Students can apply for a limited number of grants covering the registration fees (see below). Please note that the University of Innsbruck is exempt from VAT according to Austrian Universitätsgesetz 2002 and thus has a VAT rate of 0%.

Registration Discounts

Option 1 – Option 7
IBM Research provides a limited amount of grants covering the registration fees for students (applicable to registration options 1-7). To apply for grants students should hand in their CV plus a letter for motivation (1-2 pages) until July 15th to bpm2015@uibk.ac.at. In addition, students will have to provide proof of their status by mailing a scan of their student card. Selection will be done by the general chairs and program chairs. In case you are an author of an accepted paper (conference or workshop), please note that at least one author is required to register for the conference / workshops at the full rate.

Option 8 (EMISA Workshop (co-located event)
If you are GI member (Gessellschaft für Informatik) or a student please note that reduced registration fees apply for Option 8.

If you are GI member or a student please contact bpm2015@uibk.ac.at before registration to obtain a coupon code to register at the discounted GI member fee or the discounted student fee respectively. The student registration fee does not include the EMISA Workshop Reception Dinner.

Remarks

Main Conference Registration
The conference registration fee includes the admission to all tracks/sessions, the conference proceedings, the conference welcome reception dinner on Monday night, lunches and breaks on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and the conference banquet dinner on Wednesday.

Workshops Day Registration
The workshop day registration fee includes admission to the Monday workshops (you can switch between workshops throughout the day), electronic pre-proceedings for all workshops, electronic post-proceedings for all workshops, lunch and breaks on Monday, and the welcome reception dinner on Monday night.

Day Passes
If you are only interested in attending the industry event there is a 1-day pass and a 2-day pass available. The 1-day Conference Pass includes all tracks/sessions on either Tuesday, September 1, Wednesday, September 2, or Thursday, September 3rd, lunches and breaks on the selected day, and access to either the conference reception dinner on Monday, August 31 (for the 1-day Conference Pass Tuesday) or conference dinner banquet on Wednesday (for the 1-day Conference Pass Wednesday and Thursday). The 2-day pass includes all tracks/sessions on Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3, lunches and breaks on Wednesday and Thursday, and the conference banquet dinner on Wednesday night.

Doctoral Consortium
Participation to the Doctoral Consortium is open for admitted students only. Costs for admitted students are covered by IBM Research who is sponsoring the event. Admitted students can participate during the demo session at the main conference to demonstrate their poster free of charge. Participation during the main conference requires registration though. Please register for the Doctoral Consortium by contacting bpm2015@uibk.ac.at.

EMISA Workshop Registration
The EMISA Workshop registration fee includes admission to the EMISA workshop, printed proceedings, breaks on Thursday and Friday, and EMISA Reception Dinner on Thursday night (EMISA Reception Dinner is not included for students).

Payment Options

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards as well as Pay Pal. Moreover, bank transfer is supported, the banking details appear after you have completed your order and are also shown on your invoice; registration fees have to be credited on the conference account within 7 days of registration, but not later than August 22, 2015! Please make sure to always add the account holder name on any payment reference, otherwise the payment cannot be tracked.

Attestation

An attestation will be sent to your e-mail address as soon as your registration is validated.

Cancellation Policy

A fee of 80 Euros will apply to cancellations. This fee will be withheld from any reimbursement. Cancellation requests should include your name and your institution/company name and whether you would like to cancel your registration in full or partially (e.g., you registered for the workshops and the conference but you only want to cancel the workshop component). Please send cancellation requests to bpm2015@uibk.ac.at by August 15, 2015 at the latest. Cancellations after this date will result in no refund of the conference fee.

Terms and Conditions

  • The registration for participation is binding and the full fee has to be paid based on the registration fees listed above within the given period.
  • Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
  • The participation fees are owed upon registration. Registration fees have to be credited on the conference account within 7 days of registration, but not later than August 22, 2015! After this deadline only credit cards and Pay Pal is accepted.
  • Payments will be refunded in total if the conference has to be canceled by the organizers. In that case, the organizers will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed.
  • The financial responsibilities of the participants are fully effective and we do not refund any payment, except as noted above.
  • Accepted and presented conference papers will be published as LNCS proceedings by Springer. To be published in the proceedings at least one author of an accepted conference paper is required to register for the conference at the full rate (via Option 2 or 3) by June 25th and the paper must be presented by the registered author at the conference.
  • Accepted and presented workshop papers will be published as LNBIP proceedings by Springer. To be published in the proceedings at least one author of an accepted workshop paper is required to register for the workshop day of the conference (via option 1 or 3) by July 15th at the full rate and the paper must be presented by the registered author at the workshop track of the conference.
  • Accepted and presented industry cases will be published as an international BPM Case Book published by Springer in 2015. To be published registration to the conference (via Option 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7) at full rateis required by July 15th and the paper must be presented by the registered author at the conference.
  • The conference program may be subject to changes.
